What you can expect at the Commission

Working at the Competition Commission is a very exciting opportunity. Even at a junior level, you get to work on cases which would include firms of varying sizes. You get to work on cases that you would only read about in newspapers if you are not a Commission employee. These cases could be in Mergers & Acquisition; Cartels; Market Conduct; and Bureau of Economic Research Divisions. One thing certain, you get to meet CEO’s and MD’s of these firms who are looking at you for a speedy resolution and/or investigation of a specific matter. This does not ordinarily happen in other institutions.

At times you get an opportunity of being part of raids on firms that are believed to be contravening the Competition Act. Be one of us and you will definitely not regret!
